It is no surprise then that the Taco Bell value menu, known as the Why Pay More Menu, is the best value menu in the fast food industry. Unlike most of its competitor’s value menus, the Taco Bell value menu not only offers a variety of low priced single item menu choices, but also has four Why Pay More Menu combos to help out the budget conscious consumer.

If it proves as popular and profitable as past Taco Bell value menu remakes, it will likely soon be rolled out nationwide. This is likely aimed mostly at McDonalds, which has enjoyed great success with its $1 Value Menu, and is the first major fast food player to have any success challenging Taco Bell in the ultimate value menu space. Whatever the Taco Bell value menu is branded is, it is sure to offer great good at cheap prices. The $1 Cravings Menu seems like a natural evolution for the Taco Bell value menu.

Taco Bell Secret Menu

Nothing shows your fast food dominance like striding up to the counter and confidently ordering something not on the menu and having the employee behind the cash register know exactly what you are talking about. Taco Bell has its own unique hidden menu items. There’s no need to try and bribe an employee to give you a list of all the secret menu items next time you are at the drive-thru window, we have you covered right here. Remember, not all items will be available in all locations. Taco Bell menu prices will vary.

This long since discontinued menu item can still be ordered since all the need ingredients are still on hand at all Taco Bell locations. What is a chessarito? It’s a delicious mix of melted cheeses, scallions, and taco sauce rolled in a small tortilla.

Cheesy Gordita Crunch

While still on the menu in some locations, for most of us this other discontinued menu item can only still be ordered by those in the know. In case you have already forgotten, the Cheesy Gordita Crunch is a hard-shelled taco inside a gordita with a layer of melted cheese between the shell and the gordita.

Chile Cheese Burrito

Like a burrito, only better. This item is also widely available. It is a gooey delight of chili cheese sauce, beans, and lots of cheese. Did we say lots of cheese?

Some customers trying to order this blast from the past have occasionally been told its been discontinued, but since all the ingredients should still be in every restaurant, with a little explaining you should be able treat your taste buds on this enchilada stuffed with beef, beans, and cheese, topped with diced onions and smothered in red sauce.

“Lava” anything

Remember the Lava Taco? Many Lava items have been discontinued. But, if you want to spice up anything on the Taco Bell menu, just ask for the Lava version. Sometimes it is also called “Lava Style”. You had better love hot, urban legend has it that this secret menu item can help spur on labor in pregnant women.

The Superman

The Superman is one of the best Taco Bell secret menu items ever, this one may take a little explaining to get. The Superman is a super burrito. It starts with a Cheesy Double Beef Burrito and then bulked up with extra potatoes, sour cream, guacamole, crispy tortilla chips. Make sure you bring you super appetite before ordering this one.

Double Grilled Quesadilla

This is exactly what it sounds like. Available as an option for any quesadilla, the Double Grilled Quesadilla is cooked twice as long. The result is crispy perfection.

“Spicy Green” anything

This is not available everywhere. Using the “old” Taco Bell green sauce, the spice goodness that was sold before “Verde” came along. Just ask for your favorite item “Spicy Green Style” and enjoy a unique taste enhancement that goes with everything.

The Hulk

This Taco Bell secret menu item sometimes gets confused with its big brother, the Incredible Hulk, so when ordering make sure you and the cashier are on the same page. The Hulk is a bean and cheese burrito loaded with guacamole. We mean loaded.

The Incredible Hulk

A bigger and badder version of the Hulk. This is a 5-layer burrito with guacamole substituted for nacho cheese sauce. It’s like a smash of flavor for your mouth. It tends to be a little messy too.

Since not all of these items can be offered at each location, Taco Bell menu prices for these items may vary.
